THE POLE! Tom Avery became the youngest Briton ever to walk to the South Pole. The boys travelled 41 nautical (47.2 statute) miles in one day with no sleep and no kites! They arrived five minutes before the new marked pole ceremony, so joined in. the whole trip took 46 days.
